TouchRPN

A fully unit-aware, scientific and engineering RPN (reverse polish notation) calculator. Great for anything from basic math in the supermarket to evaluating the ground state energy of a simple harmonic oscillator on your Quantum Mechanics final (if they let you in with an iPhone, of course). TouchRPN knows most basic physical constants and units, as well as household, cooking, and "imperial" units. An built-in tutorial will show you how to use RPN if you're stuck, as well as how to access the advanced features.

An online copy of the built-in Documentation is available.

I'm having difficulty with the trig functions. If I use the inverse trig functions, I get some complex number out. i.e. '0.5','R"cos"inv"cos^-1' yields -5.0871+0.783961i which isn't even on the unit circle or anything so I think this is a pretty glaring bug that I shouldn't have to pay like $7 for. Please fix and update for free.

You are absolutely right. I fixed this bug within 2 days of release, and updated the software with Apple. They have yet to post the update, despite my constant nagging. I apologize profusely about this glaring error, but there's nothing I can do but continue to pester them, which I fully intend to do. As soon as they make the update available, this bug fix, and numerous small feature additions will be available.

Suffers low accuracy: 22 Enter (Sqrt2) Enter (X^2) 22 Enter (– ) results in 1.43566 E-6 error. That is a very large error.

Typically function (log) means log(base of 10). (ln) is a natural log.
I would like to see also functions like (ln), (log (base of 10)) and (log(base of 2))

Also can you add units conversion between
    Kcal J
    Horse Power W

    Thank you

I agree with the above comments. Suggest correct usage of ln & log also. Problem is one mentioned on Apps site: (123456789/100)*100 does not yield the correct result. Also, I need to vary the number of decimal places to the right of the decimal point to at least 4 places. Therefore, TouchRPN is not quite ready for me to use. Please inform me when a corrected update is available and how I can replace the version that I now have. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

These are all fixed in 1.0.2, please email me your UDID (using erica sadun's UDID helper app on the app store), and I can have a fix to you sometime today/tomorrow. I'm posting the update as soon as I test it enough to convince me that it doesn't have any more glaring bugs.
